Authors: James Patterson & Howard Roughan

Nora Sinclair is young, stunning, bright, humorous, rich ? and deadly. She looks like every man's dream, but nightmare would better describe her. The trouble is, once under Nora's spell, retreat has long ceased to be an option. FBI Agent John O'Hara discovers this the hard way. He is, however, one of the fortunate few to come out of it alive. Several men were not so lucky.

HONEYMOON tells the story of a poisonous woman's web woven around at least two of her husbands, a fiancÈ and several affluent fellows she sets her sights on. A modern-day Black Widow, Nora truly loves men, but all too often they disappoint her. However, merely pleasing her may not guarantee that she will let them live either. Her logic in this area seems psychotically skewed.

As an interior decorator, Ms. Sinclair rubs shoulders with people of great wealth in her daily work. She likes what she sees. And when Nora likes what she sees, she goes for it. But when too many of her well-to-do romantic interests turn up as corpses, the FBI takes notice. Nora may be bright, but Agent O'Hara is the best at what he does. Tangling with O'Hara, she may just underestimate his abilities. In this lethal battle of wits, one of them will lose ? big time.

For fans of Patterson's Alex Cross novels, John O'Hara will certainly rank right up there with the personable psychologist. O'Hara has his own charm, a cunning born of police intelligence and the physical attributes to back up both characteristics. He also is exceedingly human, subject to the frailties of the human heart ? or it could be just a man's lust for a seductive woman. Whatever the case, O'Hara will delight Patterson's readers, new and old. He simply comes across as real ? maybe a bit too real, for you may find yourself, as I did, nearly yelling at the pages in an effort to warn him of the danger Nora Sinclair poses to him.

Whether you're cuddled up in front of a fire or basking on a sunny beach, HONEYMOON will be over all too soon.
